Art.... what a way to put it.... Last year we got a nasty letter cause we missed a birthmark on a fetal shoulder.... I said everything I can tell looks okay....mom hears "EVERYTHING OK" we've gotten more dramatic in our explanation even using examples like eye anatomy vs. eye site... brain structure vs brain function..... While I don't favor more paperwork wouldn't it be nice to see how some of the experts explain to patients what is going on... ummmm that would be nice for AIUM.... This is how Art does a scan with a typical patient .... This is how Barry does it... I think it would be educational to see the different styles....

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
