Roger, Since you forwarded this letter sent to you, let's hear your opinion on the subject. We know that as sonographer's we are not legally allowed to give a diagnosis, manage care, etc, and we certainly do not want to give misleading information, but HOW much do you let your sonographers disclose? What about measurements, if they are obviously on the screen and visible to all? What about gender? What about a normal tour of the anatomy? With warm regards, jann roger sanders wrote:

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
