Practice and reading will help you more than anything. Try to scan few
diagnosed case with some experienced colleague.
In short:
Ectopic: by TVS- uterus empty( or ?pseudosac), some extrauterine sonolucent
mass or sac or free fluid visible in the POD and B-HCG positive and may be
rising with and without symptoms and high risk history.
Vasicular Mole: Snow storm pattern (Mix lucent+ecogenic areas)-Intrauterine,
B-HCG very high, uterine size more than POG and clinical picture present.
Hematoma-Is the location in POD? some organized sonolucent mass, less
ecogenic than the uterine myometrium may be seen.
Similarly for pelvic tumors-uterine or extrauterine such as ovarian etc.
Intramural myomas-less ecogenic, ovarians-partly lucent or ecogenic
ass( extrauterine) may be seen.
