Re: adrenal, enlarged, fetalFrom: Paula S. Woletz, MPH, RDMS, RDCS (woletzps@umdnj.edu)Wed Mar 10 08:20:41 1999
I've seen a left adrenal hemorrhage which changed over time, both in terms of size and texture. It eventually displaced the stomach and left kidney. I've wondered whether the polyhydramnios that developed in that case could have been due to compression of bowel. Unfortunately, I didn't see it in its earliest stages, but it's something to consider.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
