"The Funnel"

Dearest OBGYN.netters,

Things are looking up these days. We can all breath a collective sigh of relief. Especially those who were here in our meager beginnings. Remember those days? ;)

We are going, growing, and blowing at OBGYN.net. Things are really starting to happen for us now. Thanks most assuredly to all of you in the OBGYN.net family. Our sponsors and our medical professionals represent the cream of obstetrics and gynecology on the Internet. Collectivly you have made the best Ob/Gyn website on the planet. Maybe arguably, even one of the best medical speciality websites on the planet. We all deserve to be really proud of what we've accomplished. I sure am! We now have over 150,000 visitors each month, and we don't even serve refreshments!

News Flash: We just hired two new employees here at OBGYN.net World Headquarters, Michael Murillo a programmer, and Tammy Alexander a graphic artist. We are gearing up for the millennium, so look out!

But, dear friends, before we gear up to handle the monumental amount of incoming work we optimistically anticipate, I want to take time to acknowledge, "The Funnel".

That's Kevin Sample, Internet Publishing Coordinator.

Kevin. The funnel through which everything we have ever done has passed. He has been single handedly responsible, for over two years now, for putting every single thing we have ever done online. An absolutely, incompressibly, monumental task. I can't even figure out how he did it. But he always did. Everything has been touched by Kevin. Everything. Every article or update any of us were ever proud to put our names on, he made happen. He's always quiet and unassuming, because that's just the way he is. But rest assured, OBGYN.net wouldn't even exist with the constant, unfailing, dedication of this man.

He was only a baby boy of 22 when he first came to us from a temp agency to do data entry. We saw something special in his work ethic and we grabbed him. Boy, we've all come a long way since those early days! Kevin's married now, with the purchase of his first home under his belt.

Kevin Sample, I'm glad I know ya.

If anyone of you would like to send him anniversary regards please write to him at kevin.sample@obgyn.net

Kevin personifies the kind of unfailing dedication that has made OBGYN.net so great. We're lucky to have him.

Always, Roberta

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
