Re: Clin case: distended bladderFrom: M.C. Scarboro RNC RDMS (case@mediaone.net)Sat Jan 23 18:24:55 1999
Sounds like a happy ending to me. Enlarged hypertrophic bladder probably stay that way until and if bladder and abdominal tone improve. Normal (LA)liquour, renal parenchyma, early resolution (<18 wks), and lack of reflux/hydro; every positive finding a s/p bladder outlet obstructed female fetus could hope for. Resolution early enough to not expect pulmonary complications. I bet this baby does well. MC Scarboro RNC RDMS

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
