-- It depends on when you've noticed an enlarged yolk sac.If you did so before the 7th week and the pregnancy goes on ,then you should find out a thickened nuchal fold and yes,you should perform either a CVS or an amniocentesis because you're likely to find a chromosomal anomaly.If the enlarged yolk sac is found later on in pregnancy,its significance is not as important so you may decide what to do just looking what (ultrasonographically) happens .That'what I think. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
