Embryonic Heart Rate @ 8 WeeksFrom: anonymous (info@obgyn.net)Fri Jan 22 07:00:33 1999
To Whom It May Concern: I am a 32-year-old woman who conceived on December 15, 1998, making me about seven and a half weeks pregnant. I'm very concerned because two days ago during a routine ultrasound, my doctor found that the embryo's heart rate was only about 60 BPM, and the embryo was a little small - less than 5 mm. Also, the gestational sac was a little enlarged and irregularly shaped. The doctor said I'd likely miscarry, but he has seen these situations turn themselves around. Do you have any thoughts? I'm scared! Thanks.
