Lawson: Upgrade to the 3DFrom: MARK LAWSON (lawson98@juno.com)Tue Jan 19 17:49:53 1999
"Joseph A Worrall MD RDMS" <jworrall@alaska.net>says ....I doubt that Medison would want to haul an ultrasound machine to Fairbanks.... I expect to get the 3D grayscale upgrade soon, but I am not sure how long it will take me to learn how to use it. Yo.... Doc..... up to 73 degrees here in west texas today...little bit of wind made if feel....68.... brrrrrrrrrrr I got to use the 3D Medison for a couple of months.... we saw 88 patients on the machine...the key is to get someone to work with you for a day(someone good)..... after several weeks of playing with it I wasn't doing so good and got to talk with a tech rep at the home office.... big help..... much better than the apps spec. they sent me..... There is a trick and a secret is to get and save all the midline sagital facial scans you can..... get a good fluid surface around the profile, ie... the nose pushed up agin' the placenta makes for a horrible 3D scan.... then the rest is knobology..... and I'd be happy to fly up and give you the demo..... The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
