Nirvi, Am not sure where the internal os is but it appears to me to be above. Cervix is not dilated, I do not call incompetent cervix. Usually in my experience incompetent cervix opens from inside & labor may be either inside or outside. Inc cervix feels soft. Labor cervix feels firm until later. We have seen cyclic opening & closing of internal os in both entities, however.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
