dunno. looks like a small polyp. since cancers can exist in a polyp, in a woman with postmenopausal bleeding, this should be removed and handed to the pathologist for exam. i take it this was done. what did the path report show? all the article says is that compared with blind biopsy, TVS performed better as a screening test. TVS obviously still missed some cancers. out of curiosity, was saline infused to obtain this image or was this fluid already present within the cavity? Good case! have seen a few of these myself. Art

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
