The technique is robust with up to 90% detection rate if combined with free BHCG and PAPP-A. Equipment needs to be middle range scanner, we use Tosh Eccocee but you can manage with a Tosh 250 at a push. The UK Dept of Health is running a multicentre trial at present and detection rates are at least as good if not better than serum and some good stuff coming oout about congenital herats in hte abnormally enlarged NT group.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
