Dear members, I happened to find some echogenic substances in the gallbladder of the a fetus in late pregnancy today. The fetus was active and no other associated anomalies. I wonder if this has any significance. I haven't had any experience about this. Are they gallstones? Any comment is welcome. The ultrasound picture is attached.

The picture is the transverse section at about the level of the abdominal circumference.
