Glad to see you jump in... Scotia, you are absolutely right in your assertion to individualize care.... thank you for saying so.... When someone calls to schedule a GB we say, can you send them right over.... many times we can see the stones and get the clinical question answered without the NPO and other preps and the referring doc gets the results the same hour..... The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
