rewarding dayFrom: UltraKath@aol.comTue Aug 18 17:49:47 1998
My most memorable day in 18 years of ultrasound was when I got to go into open heart surgery and place my transducer directly on the beating heart in order to evaluate a new valve. It was the only time I got to do such a thing. The cardiologist could have done it but gave me this great honor. I came back to the department flying high. I had never scrubbed before....it was the coolest day in 18 years. Kathy Velekkakan BS RDMS

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
