Lawson: A west Texas Story about ........From: MARK LAWSON (lawson98@juno.com)Mon Aug 17 21:47:24 1998
I learned this the other day from a patient that works in the local feed lots.....(yes he stunk up the exam room) and I'm telling ya'll this cause, as one patient put it aptly "it might be genetical" Seems like the cows standing around in the feed lots waiting to be sold do fine most of the time....but at apparently regular intervals they just "get to fussin'...." Well this fussing creates quite a cloud of dust and can be seen (and smelt) for miles around..... They rant and rave....then it all quiets down and life goes on..... I, for one, like the little rants and raves that ALL *lists* go through.... I understand that sometimes it gets to be a bit much.... I thought that about "Saving Pvt. Ryan"..... I was going to have to leave the theater cause the action just got too heavy for too long....so I understand that sometimes it gets to be too much.... but I do think that it *has* to happen.... some good does come from it.......and if it's boring to you....that is what the scroll button is for..... Also the system administrator saying something like it's time to take the discussion to private mail works also.... But most of the time, (IMPO, in my personal observation) it goes away on its own..... don't unsub Dr. Klein....I enjoy your banter and clinical stories just enough :-) Sincerely,
-- Mark Lawson, RDMS Texas Sonographer

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
