Were these "normals" in that category. Others have looked at the group with an abnormal screen and totally normal GTT & they have NOT found any increase in macrosomia. I have not looked at this in any systematic way but share your impression & tell all the patients who have abnormal screens to avoid concentrated sweets, fruits as solo snacks & eat 3 small meals & 3 snacks to spread out the challenge to their pancreas. I do not tell them they are diabetic.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
