I would just like to say to everybody that I have literally done thousands (yes, thousands) of post-natal head sonograms. There too, I frequently see "prominent ventricles" with no other abnormality. So why wouldn't we see that pre-natally also? Remember in the old days when follicular cysts on pre- menstrual females were considered abnormal until it became a little more than infrequent and then it was considered normal? I think that is what we may be dealing with here. Now that we are all communicating with one another, we find many frequent similarities that we would previously think is abnormal which may, in fact, be a normal variant. Suzy, "the head lady"

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
