Re: PPROM and Pulmonary Hypoplasia Use of AntibioticsFrom: DRoss38040 (DRoss38040@aol.com)Mon Mar 16 21:53:06 1998
In a message dated 98-03-16 13:53:40 EST, you write: << Antimicrobial therapy' when used in the expectant management of preterm premature rupture of the membranes is associated with prolongation of pregnancy and a reduction in the diagnosis of maternal and infant morbidity. >> Great abstract, but they didn't mention what trimester was being studied. Or was it both 2nd and 3rd? Do you get these abstracts online, Dr. Smeltzer? Diana Ross, RT, RDMS

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
