A late introduction.From: Donna Smith (dlsmith@voyager.co.nz)Sun Mar 15 01:54:49 1998
Hi all. I thought I had best introduce myself. I am a kiwi sonographer working in a busy ultrasound department which has already been described to you compliments of my colleague, Martin Necas. I have been scanning for 10 years and hold the Diploma of Medical Ultrasound, the qualification of the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine. Most of my scanning experience has been obtained overseas, 2 years in Australia, 2.5 years in London, 3 years in Saudi Arabia and 1 year in the United Arab Emirates. Prior to studying ultrasound I practised as a Diagnostic Radiographer - the most common pathway to getting involved in Ultrasound in Australasia and in the UK. Since we have just had the internet linked up in our department my colleagues and I look forward to tuning in to your discussion group on a regular basis and having somewhere to discuss our interesting cases as they arise. Regards, Donna

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
