I have just finished looking at your images Janet.....and I think your are right....that it is the thalamus obliqued mimicking a mass. This head appears normal, including the ventricles which I do not consider enlarged. I think if this were a real mass, other structures would be affected in other planes. This does not look like a bleed. Suzy
