>It was also missed on the first >Abdominal scan (Looked like the bladder in front of the uterus). *Ouch*, I have spent half a case scanning through what I thought was a bladder and the patient ~swore~ she drank the prep....to see a new fluid filled structure appearing and realizing what I thought was a bladder was really a huge ovarian cyst so I toss the views I had taken and restart when the bladder gets full enough. This is not an unusual occurance as my sonographer friends shared similiar experiences and the concensus is humbling embarrassment and thankful it was caught. Janet

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
