Re: Endovaginal in 1st trimesterFrom: J. L. Tomko RDMS (buddy@redrose.net)Fri Mar 6 07:18:02 1998
I had received a private email from one of the ob/gyn's concerning endovaginal only scans. He brought forth a point that the doctor not only does sonography but also an internal exam which should 'feel' a mass that high in the pelvis. Since sonographers don't have this option full bladder technique and endovaginal should r/o missing a mass.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
