I think the concept is bargaining for the best deal BEFORE the heart attack. When buying tires, I'm pretty sure you end up paying more if you buy them in extremis, with a flat on the side of the road, than when you buy them prospectively.

Planning ahead always makes more sense (and saves more money) in a capitalistic system.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
