Short Femur Length compare to normal range !!From: D Paul (drpkgp@gmail.com)Fri Nov 2 08:23:13 2007
Hi, My wife(27yrs) is pregnant and now her pregnancy is 24 weeks old. We both are of sort height. Today when we went for routine Ultrasound ,the report has come out as BPD is 61.1mm and FL is 33.7 mm, hc = 22.14 cm and Bulky Placenta. My question is will the pregnancy last? Or we will have to do an abortion ? If the pregnancy will held then what are the chances that the child will live after birth and will not be affected by Down syndrome and other deficiencies? Now I am really worried and before I do any decision I want to get some knowledge from you people... Please do help me. Thanks & Regards, D Paul

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
