Two thoughts:
1- This may be common knowledge to everyone, but it is almost always
possible to see the C Section scar during the nonpregnant transvaginal
ultrasound. It is also almost always possible to see them during the
transvaginal first trimester genetic screen.
2- I wonder if there is a body of published reports relating the appearance
of the C Section scar when not pregnant or in the first trimester, to the
integrity of that scar during the pregnancy? I have seen a number of scars
that would worry me if I were the responsible obstetrician, (and I always
describe these scars in my report) but I never get any feedback.
