Terry I've found the best time to evaluate the previous Cesarean scar is when the patient is not pregnant, preferably during a sonohysterogram. I can usually identify the incision site and often see what's described as a "scar diverticulum." I find OB's requests for my assessment of the LUS in the third trimester singularly unrewarding. Art

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
