Re: experience with reimbursement for 3D 4D ultrasound?From: Paula Woletz (pwoletz@aium.org)Fri Jan 19 11:03:56 2007
Are you looking for a CPT code for 3D? 76376: "3D rendering with interpretation and reporting of computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, or other tomographic modality; not requiring image postprocessing on an independent workstation. (Use 76376 in conjunction with codes[s] for base imaging procedure[s])" 76377: " 3D rendering with interpretation and reporting of computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, or other tomographic modality; requiring image postprocessing on an independent workstation. (Use 76377 in conjunction with codes[s] for base imaging procedure[s])" Hope this helps! Paula

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
