Re: Nabothian cystsFrom: Razvan Socolov (razvan.socolov@yahoo.com)Tue Oct 31 07:09:04 2006
Hello! This is my 1st posting to the list, but I thought I would bring my humble opinion from another part of the world. In Romania, as a gynecologist, I tend to ignore Nabothian cysts unless in a clinical significant context: - cervical infection/dysplasia detected at Pap smear - infertility of unknown origins - recurrent vaginal discharge I have had cysts of upto 15-18 mm, no special attitude recommended, if I certify the lack of clinical significance. I'm glad to see the genereal opinion is the same on the other side of the ocean. Dr. Razvan Socolov Elena Doamna Maternity Iasi- Romania

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
