August 18-20, 2006 Dickson, TN (near Nashville) This comprehensive course will provide participants a detailed overview of fetal echocardiography. The course will review the embryology, anatomy, physiology and scanning planes of the fetal heart and describe numerous congenital anomalies, their ultrasound appearance and the planes and Doppler technique to identify them. A hands-on dissection of a heart will help participants get a better understanding of the 3D anatomy, the relative position of the great vessels and the position of the valves. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
