Tip: New technique for obtaining NT when you're strugglingFrom: Dave Berck (djberck@yahoo.com)Tue Apr 4 13:40:47 2006
If you can't get the image transabdominally due to fetal position and you can't get it transvaginally due to fetal position try this: while the tv transducer is in place, try to obtain it transabdominally. the tv transducer will either more the fetus up or increase fetal activity making it easier transabdominally. So far it has a 100% success rate! David J. Berck, MD, MPH

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
