Marveen,

Yes, where is the ob doc in this case? Was he or she paid to keep quiet? Remember Tom Cruise in the movie The Firm where he gave legal advice to the Mafia boys about sending their files to the ship in the middle of the ocean? How about Tom Cruise getting an sonar machine from his house to one of cruise ships as a "donation"? Or should the Sonar manufacturers send Tom a bill in such a way that it may be called "overbilling". Just thinking.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
