Diane

The fact you have read several different textbooks and had several different opinions doesn't surprise me.

To my mind, the liquor is just one piece of a uch larger jigsaw in assessing fetal wellbeing and TTTS and a straightforward 4-quadrant cord-free pool AFI (regardless of sac), together with measurement of a deepest pocket in each sac, and a comment on whether the dividing membrane is mobile gives all the "liquor-information" required for me to manage the patient.

What is the appropriate way to measure AFI in twin pregnancy?? I have read several leading textbooks and looked online and have found differing opinions. I would like to clarify this issue. Thanks, Diane Cressy RT, RDMS (Abd, Ob-Gyn), RVT sadiebird@juno.com
