Diane The fact you have read several different textbooks and had several different opinions doesn't surprise me. To my mind, the liquor is just one piece of a uch larger jigsaw in assessing fetal wellbeing and TTTS and a straightforward 4-quadrant cord-free pool AFI (regardless of sac), together with measurement of a deepest pocket in each sac, and a comment on whether the dividing membrane is mobile gives all the "liquor-information" required for me to manage the patient. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
