Hello,
I am a (non-college degree) Chief Sonographer at Cape Canaveral Hospital
in Florida (USA), fully certified by ARDMS. I have over 20 years of
direct clincal expereince and I am considered highly expert in my
field(s). I mostly perform highly complex diagnosis type testing along
with standard OBGYN as needed in a very busy Hospital. I am trying to
apply to the New Zealand Board, however I am concerned that my lack of a
specific college degree may delay my acceptance.
I would be able to submit numerous refereences along with my ARDMS
records with my application but I heard that NZ does not yet recongize
fully the ARDMS qualifications. Can you provide any contacts or advice
on how best to submit my application to avoid the re-testing and
associated fees. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Marion
