There a school in Baltimore. UMBC Training Centers. It is 14 mons long and is accredited. There are 3 tracks to choose from general (abdomen and ob/gyn, vascular, echo). This is a full time, intense program with lecture and clinical included. Successful completion of the program grants you the opportunity to sit for the registry. My experience is that employers require you to become registered after a period of time. The web site is http://www.UMBCtrainingcenters.com

Good luck.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
