Re: Dermoid cystsFrom: Prof. Yaron Zalel (zalel_y@netvision.net.il)Wed Aug 10 15:39:02 2005
Dear Goubaa! I've just read the other case you presented. Thanks again for the wonderful demonstration. You can publish it in the Fetus.Net (ask Dr. Jeanty) Your case is in accordance with our publication of "Sonographic demonstration of Struma ovarii" (published in the JUM)- when you see an ovarian cyst with echogenic structure suggestive of Dermoid, but with BLOOD FLOW in the center of the echogenic structure - Think of Struma ovarii!! The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
