Terry,

I replied for Allen because he is visiting family in the area before attending the AIUM. I'm not going. However, I just learned that the proofs for my book should be coming to me some time in July. The publisher predicted an October '05 printing, but if it is not ready in time for the Dallas SDMS meeting, they have vowed to have a hand-bound copy there for review.

Kerry,

Thanks for your continued interest and encouragement. You made a major contribution to the book with your reviews. Hope to see you in Dallas

Sheila:

Thanks for your interest and use of my book. The new edition also has a new name: Essentials of Sonography and Patient Care. If you are in Dallas at the SDMS meeting, please come by the Educational Foundation booth, where I will be working, to tell me what you think of the new edition and to give me your suggestions for improvement.

Marveen, are you and Allen referring to the AIUM 50th Anniversary in Orlando? I will be there also.

By the way, have you gotten the proof pages for your new addition of Basic Patient Care for Sonography yet?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
