Re: Uterine arteries vs ovarianFrom: DuBose, Terry (DuboseTerryJ@uams.edu)Fri Jun 10 08:26:31 2005
I agree, but these measurements are sometimes taken in the non-pregnant patient. Because so many international luminaries Doppler the uterine arteries, I have only a small doubt about the methods. However, when I look in textbooks at the placement of the various arteries, it seems impossible for the uterine artery to cross both the external iliac artery and vein so consistently. I have not seen an explanation that is clear to me yet. Thanks Terry Terry J. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
