Re: Male Pregnancy?!!

This is a very elaborate hoax. If you look closely, you will notice that there are no addresses, phone numbers or any other administrator information provided. In addition, if you go to this website address: http://www.malepregnancy.com/CNN/index.html you will notice that the date at the very bottom of the website page (with the same identical picture of the pregnant man) is 2001. Lastly, if you go to: http://urbanlegends.about.com/library/weekly/aa100400a.htm it explains how the hoax came about. This is a very good website to use to check out questionable emails and websites. Another good source that I use is: http://hoaxbusters.ciac.org/

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
