Re: History is made in West Africa!From: LDPLATT@aol.comMon Jan 31 08:44:08 2005
Ann This is fantastic. As the ISUOG (international Society of Ultrasound in OB-GYN) president please accept my congratulations on this outstanding achievement. You have created a role model for others to follow. While ISUOG has had and continues to have outreach programs under the direction of Past President Sturlka Eik-Nes of Norway,I held a Strategic Planning meeting in London last week end and clearly expanding our educational efforts around the world will be a major goal for our organization. Coupled with our Journal (ultrasound in OB/GYN ..the white journal),our annual scientific and world congress meetings (this year September 25-29 in Vancouver) I am confident we will try to duplicate your achievements in helping train the trainers... If our organization can be helpful to your former students please let me know ...Again Congratulations on this landmark achievement... Lawrence D. Platt M.D.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
