NGOs seek CM scanner on ultrasound clinics Express News Service New Delhi, January 26: A STATUS report, on female feoticide in the ‘‘mushrooming’’ ultrasound clinics of Delhi, has painted a grim picture for the residents. The report prepared by leading human rights and womens’ rights organisations also suggests implementation of a Pre-Natal Diagnostic Procedure Act, to prevent ‘‘rampant’’ female feoticides in the Capital. The report would be presented to the Chief Minister. According to the data, about 1,710 clinics with ultrasound machines were registered here. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
