Re: Techa lutein cystsFrom: Allen Worrall (jworrall@alaska.net)Wed Nov 3 13:29:27 2004
About one year ago we had a patient (oriental, if I recall correctly) with huge bilateral ovarian cysts. The pregnancy was otherwise normal. We sectioned her because of concern about these cysts causing dystocia, and confirmed that they were theca lutein cysts. The baby did fine and the cysts went away eventually. > ----- Original Message ----- I would like to ask your opinion about a case. The patient has a 10 weeks spontaneous pregnancy with bilateral (7cm and 10 cm) adnexial cysts, probably we thought they are techa lutein cysts. The patient has been complaining mild abdominal pain, without acute abdomen singns. There is no sign of molar pregnancy. What do you recommend. The patient asks for pregnancy termination. Kindly regards
