Company: University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Position: Sonographer Job Description: The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking a qualified sonographer for its AIUM accredited lab specializing in high-risk obstetrical sonography, gynecology, and prenatal diagnosis. Experience also required in specialties such as Abdomen and Superficial Parts. Minimum of 6 months experience preferred. Sonographers work with Faculty Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists, as well as Faculty Radiologist in performing OB/GYN and radiology procedures. Full time position with limited call. Paid time off plus 9 holidays. Hours Monday through Friday Full benefited position. 6 other sonographers on staff. Job Requirements: Must be ARDMS or eligible (registration within 1 year). The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
