Dr. Persad, I GOOGLED "AMiB7" and found the following. If you download the 510(k) PDF file, it is the document submitted to the USA FDA for approval. It gives a description of the AMiB7, which appears to be a Canadian build portable. Though I have never heard of the machine before.

DEVICE: AMIB7 ALLIANCE MEDICAL, INC. 510(k) NO: K990198(TRADITIONAL) ATTN: JAMES RIEDL PHONE NO : 514 344 3030 7800 COTE DE LIESSE SE DECISION MADE: 29-JUN-99 ST. LAURENT, QUEBEC, CANADA H4T 1G510(k) SUMMARY AVAILABLE FROM FDA

There is not much information available on the Web for this machine... Good luck, Terry J DuBose

here in Trinidad, West indies.
Someone is trying to sell me an AMIB7 system. The roice seems good but I
have never heard of this brand. Can anyone with experience
tell me if this is worth buying?

Thanks Prakie Persad MD ----__JNP_000_528b.0da3.77c8 Content-Type: text/html; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
