Re: Skilled Ob-Gyn sonographer needed..From: DuBose, Terry (DuboseTerryJ@uams.edu)Mon Apr 26 16:48:04 2004
We run a listserv for our Seniors and graduates... anyone can send a message to the list. This way we don't have to give out names and numbers for students/graduates, which is against the rules. If they are interested the grads will contact you. If you have a job for a well educated graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medial Sonography, send the job description and contact information to: UAMS-DMS-L@LIFE.UAMS.EDU To see the extent of their education, please see our web pages: http://www.uams.edu/chrp/dms/default.asp pay particular attention to their clinical education, which includes a broad range of clinical rotations. Our Senior class graduates in May '04, here is their clinical schedule: http://www.uams.edu/chrp/academicprograms/dms/ClinicalRecords/ClinicalRo tationSchedule2002-2004.htm I think our students receive as broad an education as any DMS Program, from High-Risk OB clinics to Pediatrics, and Geriatrics at some great clinical sites. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
