I have been summarising my as much infomration as I can gather about malpracitce in ultrasound (which particulalry affects obstetrical ultrasound) in a series of articles at the Jefferson ultrasound site http://www.sonoworld.com In addition I reviewed malpracitce in ultrasound in the journal of ultrasound in medicine two issues ago. There is no reason why expert witnesses should not discuss the nature of cases and what happened in those few cases in which there is a final court verdict. Settlement details are confidential and I wouldn't want to give the names and location of the cases but the broad outline of what occurred can be divulged. Many plaintiff malpractice attorneys give the story of what happened in cases they have won on their websites "Philippe Jeanty, MD, PhD" <jeanty@TheFetus.net> wrote:All you want in in the Lexis-Nexus database: http://www.lexis.com/

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
