Joe

that was done in the 80's by Campbell et al with 2D - most patients reported bonding experience. also - smokers reported decreased tobacco use following seeing their babies on ultrasound. i have little doubt that trend would continue with 4D. the one area that remains to be seen would be the missed anomaly during one of these "fetal photo ops." to claim non medical use in court would open the center to FDA sanction. to claim medical use would open the center to liability.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
