"non-medical use of sonography"From: Terry J. DuBose (duboseterryj@uams.edu)Fri Dec 19 07:29:19 2003
FYI... on National Public Radio's "All Things Considered" call-in show this afternoon. Friday, December 19, 2003 For expectant parents, 4-D ultrasound is all the rage, and it's all in the details: close-up views of chubby cheeks and little button noses long before a baby is born. But the FDA calls the trend a misuse of medical technology. We'll explore the issue. The audio for this program will be available online after 7:30PM ET, 4:30PM PT.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
