retained products of conception can have similar doppler characteristics - high peak systolic velocity with low RI. Seems as tho a curette might answer the question. It is, however, a good idea to get bloods in case this does not solve the problem. interestingly placental site trophoblastic tumor that i saw ( my vast experience of one case) the B-HCG was not terribly elevated but the HPL helped make the diagnosis. FOllow- up Please.
