I am 8 weeks' pregnant and had my first ultrasound yesterday. At that time it was discovered that my yolk sac appears to be developed at approximately 11 weeks. There was also a definite heartbeat, and the pregnancy is not ectopic. The doctor said not to worry about it "for now," but I am wondering what this discrepancy can indicate? Thanks.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
